How to keep all your wedding guests safe during COVID season?
There are several ways to increase the safety of your guests during your wedding. One is to purchase test kits and hire a medical technician to conduct a test to all your guests and suppliers present on your wedding day or get a really big open-air venue so tables can be placed 2 to 3 meters apart. However, if you're on a budget, we recommend a Zoom wedding and just hire professional Livestream technicians to handle all the streaming work.
What is the best venue to choose for a wedding during COVID season?
- Choose an open-air venue to lessen the chances of infection should anyone be COVID positive.
- Choose a venue that will not require you and most of your guest to travel to another city as there may be travel requirements that your guests might not be able to provide.
- Choose a venue that can cater to 3x more of the number of your actual guests so tables can be spaced at least 2 to 3 meters apart.
How much budget should you have to plan a wedding during COVID season?
Actually, it can be cheaper to have your wedding during COVID season. I have noticed many suppliers are offering discounts for their services for the 12 months of 2021. In addition, you can't really invite all your relatives and friends (due to COVID) so you will also save a lot on your catering expense.
You will, however, may need to consider additional expenses such as for live stream services (if you want it professionally done), disinfection services before guests arrive at the church or reception, and if you will hire a medical technician to do swab tests for all your guests and suppliers.
